A Staggering £6000

I think I was 6 the last time I cried but right now I don’t mind telling you I can’t stop!

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine we would raise this amount of money.

I promised the West Midlands Lupus Group I would raise £850 as part of my London Marathon Golden Bond place. I remember thinking raising £1000 would be amazing!

Now, thank you to the generosity and kindness of so many people we have just raised £6000.  This evening I posted a tweet stating that I was just £150.50 away from hitting £6000 and within minutes one very kind donator gave that exact amount to my just giving site.

I am overwhelmed at the support I am receiving for Sunday’s challenge and extremely grateful for every single donation, and I know that every single penny will make a difference to Lupus patients!
