The auction for the fantastic signed Steven Gerrard portrait ended on Saturday evening. After a series of frantic last minute pleas, which boosted the fund raising – it went for a very generous £650. An amazing amount which has now been credited to the just giving website www.justgiving.com/johnhibbs . The picture will be hand delivered this weekend and if the purchaser is willing, I hope to have some pics of the handover for all to see.
Also this week, I have boosted my longest distance to 4.74miles. In the driving rain, I set a good pace and beat Kate home but I can certainly feel it now.
The gym training is going great guns too. With three PT sessions under my belt and some extra sessions ‘just for fun’, I’m really starting to feel the effects.
