Since I made the decision to run the London Marathon to support my sister and Lupus West Midlands back in June 2009, motivation isn’t something I’ve been lacking. But over the last few weeks, watching Eddie Izzard battle his way around the country and complete 43 marathons in 51 days has given me the inspiration and belief that I can do it: that I can complete my journey and run the greatest marathon in the world – London!

I continue to endure the aches and pains that arthritis places upon my body, knowing that in little over a months time I will be a Marathon Runner!

I started off will a goal to raise £1000, today the total stands at £3689.50. I am now hopeful that by the time I take my place at the start line, we can raise £5000.

Thank you for your continued support!
